Pablo Picasso was born in 1881 in Malaga in Spain as a son of Jose Ruiz Blanco and Maria Picasso Lopez. He has painted his first painting when he was seven years old. His father was an art teacher so he realised very early how talented his son was. From 1895 he goes to the School of Fine Arts. He moves to Paris but he keeps coming back to Spain. He is painting all the time. His biggest paintings are: portrait of Gertruda Stein, "Guernica". He is painting series of paintings: the breakfasts on the grass, nudes, the painter and his model, circus scenes. His paintings were well known all over the world. He was given many prizes; he was a laureate of the International Lenin's Prize for "consolidating peace between the nations". He died in 1973 in France. He was 92 years old. He was one of the biggest and most famous artist in the XX century.
