But if you don't have enough money for the four - star hotel you can stay in hostels or in a dorm. There are always free rooms. It is very easy to get to the center of the town. You just need to take a bus or a tram. You can buy whole week passes - it is cheaper.
Toruń is a beautiful town. You can see many interesting museums there. In the center of the town there is a big statue of the patron of the town - Nicolas Copernicus, who found out that the Earth goes round the Sun. After a long walk around the town you can sit on the bench near the Vistula river, look at the peaceful water and eat the special gingerbread, which is the delicacy of inhabitants of Toruń. If you are interested in buying souvenirs and other things it would be the best to go on the Szeroka Street. You can find there everything you want.
