In the early morning hours the four people were killed in the car accident. The details of the crash are still being investigated.
At seven o'clock in the morning the four young people were driving in the red Ford along the A4, from Cracow to Tarnów. According to the preliminary reports they were overtaking the car in a very high speed on the illicit place. The driver was 17 years old girl who have had her driving licence for one month. During the passing she had lost the control over her car and she got off the road and hit the tree. If that was not enough the car bounced off the tree and the vehicle turned a somersoult and landed in a ditch. There was three more passengers inside the car. The seventeen year - old - driver was killed on the spot. The boy sitting naxt to the driver was 22 years old and was also dead before the police and ambulance came. The other two passengers sitting at the back seat were found alive. They were taken to the hospital in Tarnów and after four hours both the girls died. They were 17 years old.
The police is still investigating the cause of this tragic accident. Nevertheless, the preliminary reports shows the fault of the young and inexperienced driver who overrated her possibilities. The speed and mindlessness which are always connected with young age are usually causes of car accidents. We should also remember about the road conditions which are not very good in our country. The roads are not adjusted to the high - speed rallies. Moreover those who drive a car should also remember if not about themselves than about the passengers who are sitting next to them.
