Nowadays school is one of the most important thing which can influence one's life and career. The education is creating our lives and point of view. If you are well educated you can quickly adapt ypurself to the new conditions. On the other hand we spend in school most of our young life, we meet there our boyfriends or girlfriends, we make new friendships, we create our further lifestyle.
To begin with, there are always some advantages and disadvantages of going to school. I am a student of first grade of high school in Sanok. My school is very old because it is over one hundred years old. It is situated in the center of the town in a big building so it is easy to get there. My school is very friendly for new students. It is easy to find different classes in school and there is a big timetable on the wall so you can always check lessons of other class. It is very helpful eg. for parents. Classes in our school are very well equiped. There is TV set and video in every class, we have got over 20 computers with internet. You can use the internet for free on every pause and after 14:00 till 18:00 pm. There is also a small shop were you can buy sandwiches - the best in the world, sodas and sweets. During pauses there is a lot of music playing from our loud - speakers. You can ask for every song you wish to hear. However, I think that all this things are needed to create the right atmosphere of the school, in my opinion the most important are teachers and management. I have to say that we have got very good headmaster who is not only good teacher but also the manager. Thanks him we can go abroad, we have got computers and big gym. We all like him very much. He has also created very good teaching stuff. All teachers are well educated and prepared for teaching. They are nice to the students and they are very demanding. Thanks to that there is a lot of students who pass to the best universities in Poland.
Of course there are some disadvantages of going to our school. First of all there is a lot of students so there are shifts. The students of first grades have to go to school in the afternoon and they finish their lessons in the evening. It is very tiring because there is no time for studing and doing something else than just going to school. another thing is that we have got a lot of subjects and you need to study hard for all of them because you will not graduate to another class. I think this is wrong because we should spend more time on learning those subjects which are the most interesting for us. But this are just small things and I think that it will change one day.
Finally, I think that my school is very good. I like my teachers and headmaster. I like the atmosphere of my school. I am sure that thanks to my school I will be accepted by the university and I will be able to get a good job. I wish my school was better and better every year. I would also like to send my future children to this school. I think that my school is very good basis for future life.
