Today you can watch many movies about people living somwhere in the space. One of the most popular is the film directed by Anthony Hoffman- "The Red Planet". It says about the will of people to live on Mars. Scientists work on maiking the enviroment on this planet suitable for human to live. The action of the film takes place in the future, when there are too many people on Earth. They need another planets to live on. Also the air on Earth is so polluted that many people get seriously ill. Contemporary scientists know that this will not be possible and the movie is pure fiction. It seems impossible to make a totally self-sustained ecosystem even in the laboratory. There was a huge project which wanted to acquire an isolated system, which started on 26th September 1991.
