Dear Madam or Sir
I am writing on behalf of an association of young volunteers called "Make a difference" and I would like to apply for your financial support for building a playground for children living in the area of Kamienna Street.
We all are students and for the last three years we have been looking after a group of twenty children living in one of the poorest districts of our city. As there is not any playground in the area, the children very often play in the vicinity of a rubbish tip or in the street. Our plan is to build a playground with swings and sandpits for the youngest children and a football pitch for the teenagers.We also would like to plant some trees and make flower beds surrounded by benches to brighten up this gloomy place.
To realize our plan, we need a considerable sum of money. Our association have already managed to collect some money during a Christams fair that we organized at our university. However, we still needs more funds. Your company has long been known for its its involvment in charity therfore, we would like to ask you for financial assistance in realization of our project.
