Hi Kate

Thanks for your last letter. I'm really happy that I have a friend like you. It's so nice to have somebody to whom I can write about everything.

How are you feeling after breaking up with Paul? I know it isn't easy forget about what happened but please, don't worry too much! You did the right thing dumping him after he had lied to you. I'm really very sorry your relationship didn't work, I thought you were made for each other but you can't be with a liar. I'm sure you'll soon meet some nice guy who'll fall in love with you be happy to have such a lovely girl.

I'm fine. I've just come back from Kołobrzeg-it's a beautiful city at the Polish seaside and I spent there 3 weeks in summer camp. The weather was lowely-hot and very sunny and we spent a lot of time on the beach so now I have beautiful suntan! We stayed in a nice hotel and I shared my room with two other girls. Marta was from Wrocław and Iwona was from Warszawa. They are both very nice and we made friends on the first day of our day there. When we were leaving Kołobrzeg, we exchanged our addresses and phone numbers and promised to stay in touch. The food in the hotel was delicious. We always had such big dinners that everybody needed a short nap after eating.

We often played basketball and netball and boys played football matches evey evening. Besides we had a lot of trips. Usually we went to nearby towns but we also spent one weekend in Gdańsk. We had a really good time there. We often oragnized various competitions, for example one evening we had a competition of three liars. It was a very funny game and everyone was laughing. We also organized disco twice. I danced with a cute boy called Marcin. He was two years older then me and I really liked him. The next day after the disco we went together for a walk along the beach and we had a nice chat. But then he started to pretend that he didn't notice me. I don't know why he behaved like that, maybe he wasn't that nice after all.

When I was in the camp, we went to the cineama on Saturday evening. We saw a beautiful and very moving film "Hearts in Atlantis". Have you seen it? If not, you absolutely must do it! It was a real tear jerker-I was crying like a baby.

I had such a good time in Kołobrzeg that I didn't want to go home! Now I had a lot of very nice memories and photos which I took there.

As you know, my birthday is on August 13 and I'm going to have a big party. My parents have already agreed! I'm writing about it because I'd like you to come and be my special guest. Would you be able to come? You could then stay at my house for a week or two and we could finally spend some time together.There are lots of things we could do. I would show you around Cracow and we could also have a trip to Wieliczka and Zakopane. An you would meet my all friends! Do you like this idea? If you can come, book a plane ticket and let me know when you arrive. My parents and I ll pick you up at the airport.
