My name is Alicja Nowacka and I am writing in a response to your advertisement published in the issue of Newsweek International from May 1.I am very interested in taking part in the Summer Language Camp organized and funded by your foundation.
I am a student in the third grade of a secondary school in Cracow and I have been learning English for 7 years now. I can speak the language quite well but I have been still working on improving it. I am very interested in the British culture and history and it has always been my dream to visit that country. After graduating from secondary school, I would like to study English at university, however I must master the language to pass the entrance exams. My family is rather pour therefore I could not afford enrolling for a language school in London. Thus, spending holidays in a language camp in England would be a great opportunity for me.
I would like to ask you to consider my application when choosing the participant of the camp. I hope your decison will be positive for me. I am looking forward to your reply.
