I remember well one adventure from my childhood. It was in summer, 1995. The temperature was above 30 degrees - it was terribly hot. I and some friends decided that we should go swimming. The cold water seemed the best way to fight the heat. We live near Wadowice which lies on the river Skawa . So we went there.

Wadowice lies near Skawa but we live long way from the river. We went on foot. It was very hot and we were walking and walking. The distance was too long for this temperature. We were very tired and we though about faster way of getting to the river. But it was impossible; there was no bus and no car near us. We had to walk.

Suddenly a fence blocked our way. It was a field of one of the farmers who live near Skawa. We could go around the field but I was a very long distance. We could also go across the field but we knew that the farmer had some cows and a bull. They were usually on the field. But we could not see them. We decided to take this short cut. One of my friends was afraid of it but he had no choice - he had to go with us. At the beginning everything was ok. We were in the middle of the field when we heard a noise. It was the bull! It ran in our direction. We also ran and fortunately reached the end of the field before the animal. It was really a quick short cut.
