When a new technology appears the people may be sceptical about it. But later they may not be able to imagine a life without it. Especially if it saves their time.
We can see the positive effect of new technology everywhere but especially in our homes. There are many timesaving devices which make our lives easier. For example: we do not have to wash our clothes by ourselves. We put them into a washing machine and can do something else in the meantime. The number of similar helpful things is huge. We often ask ourselves: how could our ancestors live without them?
In my opinion there are two inventions which are more important than the rest. For me at last. The first one is a mobile phone. It is now difficult to think about life without it. It allows us to immediately contact our friends and family. The people without mobile phones sometimes have problems - because they cannot be contacted with at any time. However, there is one serious disadvantage of this invention. It may be very expensive if somebody cannot limit himself of herself and talks too much.
The second important invention which I use very often and cannot imagine a life without it, is a calculator. I am not very good at math and I need help with more complicated tasks. With its help I can do even most complicated calculations, like those with percentages. I am not only one who thinks that it is a very important thing. However, nowadays they are less visible as many people have mobile phones which are equipped with calculator also.
I would like to thank those people who invented things like calculator, mobile phone and many other useful devices. They improved the life of many people.
