Decentralisation: the manager allows those below him to take decisions by themselves and refrains from intervening unless it cannot be avoided

Management by Information Systems (MBIS):

The information coming from the inside of the company is used by the manager when he or she wants to raise the level of efficiency.

Management by Intercourse (MBI):

Much stress is put on the balance between male/female energy and integration of all elements of human psychology in order to create personnel that will work effectively, with a lot of energy and will be productive. The dictionary defines "intercourse" as: "Dealings or communications between persons or groups"

Management by Matrices (MBM):

The head of the company studies charted variables in order to recognise the internal relationship between them, the possible effect and reason for them and ways of dealing with it from which he can choose.

Management by Objectives (MBO):

The general objective is set by the company and later each manager creates aims for one particular worker.

Management by Organisational Development (MBOD):

The manager works all the time on improving the relationship between the workers

Management by Performance (MBP):

Manager uses motivation of workers and relations between them to achieve high level of performance

Management by Styles (MBS):

Manager is flexible and changes his or her approach to the events depending on the situation

Management by Walking around (MBWA):

Manager visits the workers at their place of work. He or she talks with then and tries to collect information about them

Management by Work Simplification (MBWS):

The main aim of the manager is to make the process simpler and cheaper.
