Technology will give us a small workforce of technocrats and a huge number of people who are unemployed and living in poverty
I agree with opinion that technology will give us a small workforce of technocrats and a huge number of people who are unemployed and living in poverty, but I think that it will ensue in time (about 50 years time). It can be a big problem in the future. In my opinion technological progress in fact is good thing, because now we (I meant all of the humankind) can't do some kinds of jobs, for example digging big holes in the ground, so machines can help us. But what will we do when this progress will go too far? It's quite possible that walking on the streets robots will be completely normal for all of our society. Robots can stand in our place and do for us most of jobs, but not all, because human is irreplaceable. I can't imagine that one day robot will carry on conversation with politician leader of another country. Maybe one day it will be a lot of unemployed people. Only few of them will supervise machines and have permanent job.
