Pizza

Serves two or three, depending on their appetite

Dough

½ kg flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 glass water

½ packet yeast

4-6 tablespoons oil

Toppings

1 small jar of tomato paste*

300 g cheese

100 g ham

1 bell pepper

about 5 mushrooms

black olives

oregano

* You may of course prepare tomato sauce, but in my opinion some ready-made tomato pastes are delicious. I recommend Pudliszki.

Pour warm (not hot, because it will prevent yeast from "working") water into a bowl. Add yeast, mix and let it sit in a warm place for about 10 minutes. Then add flour, oil and salt and mix it by hand. If the mixture is too dry, add water, if it resembles pancake batter, add flour. When it's ready, cover the bowl with a clean dishcloth and store it in a warm place to let it rise for about one hour. In the meantime prepare the toppings (grate cheese, slice pepper and mushrooms) and preheat the oven to 180°. When the dough is about twice as big as in the beginning, roll it out with a rolling pin. Grease a baking sheeet with oil and put dough into it. If needed, flatten it with your fingers until it's very thin. Cover it with tomato paste, grated cheese, sprinkle with oregano and decorate with rest of the toppings (peppers, olives, ham, mushrooms). Bake the pizza for about half an hour.
