Cheating is lying to others- telling untrue things or doing something not allowed in secret. Each student knows, what cheating during exams means. In Poland, unlike in other countries, cheating is very popular at schools. Most students prepare helpful materials for the exams, which are not allowed by the teachers. Most popular way of cheating is writing on small sheets of paper all necessary information and data. It is important to find a good place to hide these sheets of paper so as not to get caught by the teacher. Most students simply handle them in hand. During the exam, carefully watching the teacher, one may read from them. In Poland, if you get caught cheating, you won't suffer too severely. You may gat worse grade or you may have to write the exam once again, but nothing worse may happen to you. However, in many countries, the consequences are very bad. One may be called to talk to the headmaster, may be suspended or even expelled from school.
What are the other disadvantages of cheating? I think that it is basically a bad idea to cheat, because one cannot learn anything if he/she cheats. We cheat, because we are too lazy to learn, but we forget that we learn for some purpose.
If we keep on cheating during all years of our education, we will have really difficult life as adults. We may not be able to find a good job, because we won't have any knowledge or skills. Nowadays, if you have no good education, it is very difficult for you to find any work.
In my opinion cheating is bad. It influences us badly. It teaches us that we can achieve success (like good grades) without working at all. And in reality it is not true and we may suffer severely because of thinking in such a way.
