Hello Adam
Thanks a lot for the news from you. It looks like you're having a good time there, in the States. I can't say it about myself, unfortunately. I've just filed failed my Math test. Again! I don't know yet how to tell my parents about that but I'll worry about it later. Now I'm going to tell you the latest news from our school.
First of all, Mrs. Drabek isn't our head teacher any more. She moved to Katowice two months ago and our new head teacher is Mr. Kownacki- a completely new person in our town. He has moved here recently from the north of Poland and he's terrible. He says that we won't have school discos any more-can you imagine? And now we start our first class at 7:30 and our lunch break isn't 25 minutes but only 20! I don't like these changes.
Besides, there was a flood in our classroom; a pipe burst last weekend and when we came to school on Monday, there was water all over. So now we have lessons in that small room near the cafeteria and our classroom is being renovated and painted in blue.
The teachers often ask me about you-how you're doing and what you do apart from studying. Don't worry, I didn't tell anyone that you break into the database of Microsoft. They think that you have too much studying to do anything else-that's what I told them!
By the way, our English teacher told us yesterday that we should follow your example and maybe we'll also go to the US some day. So you can be proud of yourself-you're almost an idol in our school!
Ok, it's all from me now. I hope you're ok and I'll hear from you soon.
Take care
Robert
