Everyone dreams of having a perfect job. In this case perfect means lucrative-that is job which provides you with handsome income, various bonuses and perks like for example a company car, mobile or laptop. Besides, many people understand a perfect job as the one that gives you not only high salary but also possibility of professional development and fulfilment of your potential. However, it is not easy to find employment in a company that employs people on such excellent conditions. In my opinion there are two essential factors on which finding a lucrative job depends.
First of all, excellent educational background increases our chances of being successful. All good companies search for the best educated and experienced staff therefore applicants who graduated from prestigious universities and completed additional courses have more chances to find a lucrative post than those who attended less known universities. Good education includes not only wide knowledge necessary in our profession but also command of foreign languages. As English has become an international language, the knowledge of it is one of the basic requirements of all employers who more and more often expect their workers to speak at least two foreign languages. In addition, professional experience is also a chief asset of a person applying for a job. Therefore, nowadays many young people start working during their studies to acquire also practical, first-hand knowledge.
Personality is the second essential factor that employers take into consideration when employing new staff. We must remember that the impression we make during job interview influence the way our employer-to-be will perceive us. What is important for him is not only our attitude towards the job and our responsibilities but also our attitude to co-workers. Good and friendly working environment involve cooperation and good relationships with our colleagues therefore it matters whether we are communicative, responsible and honest. All employers expect from their employees commitment to their job and fulfilling their duties. If we do not posses some of those qualities, we should start working on our characters to develop them.
Nowadays, when the competition on the labour market is so big, finding a job that would come up to our expectations is not an easy task. Nevertheless, if we do our best and put a lot of effort into gaining the best educational background and professional experience, we will surely succeed in finding a lucrative job which will provide us with handsome salary and allow us to fulfil our potential.
