The twentieth century witnessed an unbelievable technological progress. Life has changed significantly in comparison to the life of our grandparents or even parents. Almost every day brings new scientific discoveries or technological inventions which facilitate further progress of humanity. All of us sometimes wonder what the future is going to look like.
It seems very likely to me that a water-powered car will be constructed which will solve the problem of exorbitant prices of petrol. Moreover, I think that will become even faster and easier as scientists will invent a vehicle travelling at the speed of sound. Another important change may be that learning will become dependent on the Internet as students will no longer have to go to school. They will learn by computer connected to the Internet and their progress will be checked at the end of every semester when they will have to go to school to have their knowledge tested. I also predict that taking a dog for a walk will become much easier as no one will need to accompany it. All pets will have special microchips implanted which will prevent them from running away or from losing their way home.
These are my predictions concerning the changes that will occur in the future. However, is seems to me the fast development of science and technology will result in many more inventions which will facilitate our lives.
