Usually, I spend my holidays at home. I would like to travel to other cities or even countries but I do not complain about the fact that I stay in my home-town in summer. I always try to organize my time so I never get bored.
I usually spend a lot of time with my friends. There is a wonderful lake outside the town so I often meet my friends in the afternoons and we go together to the lakeside. We swim in the lake, sunbathe or play volleyball. In the evenings, we often have barbecues in my garden. Sometimes we also go the cinema or to the disco. During holidays I aslo help my parents with various household chores. I also work in the garden where I weed flower beds or pick up strawberries and raspberries. Besides, I also read a lot of books, listen to my favourite music or watch some interesting film and programmes on TV. Sometimes I go on short trips, for example to my aunt who lives in the nearby town. I spend weekend at her place and then come back home.
I do not spend my holidays in remote places and I do not do any extraordinary things but I am happy about what my summer usually looks like. I know hot to enjoy myself so when September comes and it is time to come back to school, I am always relaxed and ready to work.
