I like helping people so I think that I will become a doctor in the future. Another reason is that I like when the people are happy and I think that they are happy when they are healthy. So again I should be a doctor. I think that I will make a good doctor: I am good at chemistry and biology and I will like my job.
In order to become a doctor I should go to a medical university and finish it. I would have to have very good marks and it will be difficult because the subjects at the university are hard. Then I will have a practice in a hospital. I will observe doctors at work and learn from them. Learning things from books is one thing and seeing how something is done is another.
I think that there will be many new technologies in the future. New medicines will appear that will cure diseases that are incurable now. It will be possible to cure AIDS and cancer. Life will be easier and people will have more free time. There will be a computer in every house. Everybody will have an access to the Internet. Many things will be computerised, for example cars, trains; aircrafts will be controlled by computers not drivers and pilots. The problem will appear when such a computer will break down.
There will be problems also. There are many factories in the world and they produce pollution. There are many cars now and in the future there will be many more of them. Cars produce fumes that, accompanied by the pollution from factories can destroy the atmosphere of Earth. There will be water shortages in some parts of the world. Many people may die because of it. But we can still do something in about it. We can stop the destruction of our world. It will be hard but it is still possible. If we fail to do that our only planet will be destroyed and we will all die.
But what about the nearest future? It is hard to say. In fact we cannot know what will happen in the future. But I will try to guess. I have some plans for the next weeks and months. I would like to finish the school and go on holidays. I would like to go to the same place where I was on holidays last year. After the holidays I will go to the secondary school. It is a very good school and I will have to work very hard to get good notes. Later I would like to study medicine - I wrote about it at the beginning. And later I will marry, have children, get a job, build a house…But I only think that I will do it, I am not sure about it.
