The costs of providing the people with health services are the biggest part of the budget of majority of countries. There are always problems with finding money for the health care and sometimes when there is no money the system works worse. Because of that the inhabitants of the country cannot heal themselves properly. To solve this problem I think that we should give more money on health education. If we will do it we will live longer and we will not have use medicaments and go to hospitals so often. I believe that this is the best way to make our health better.
We should begin health education in the very beginning of human's life. We must teach children, for example what food is good and what is bad; how they should eat to stay healthy. Childhood is the best time to do it. Children will remember that advises for a long period of time. It may cost much but this money will return to the people because they would not have to spend it on health care in the future. Moreover, they would understand how important is to do exercises and eat healthy food.
Moreover, if we teach the children and they will remember the knowledge, in the future they will teach their children the same rules. We would have to pay less money each year for the education, because of that. The rules of healthy life would become habit of new generations. They would become natural knowledge and tradition.
However, it is impossible to make all people as healthy and fit as, for example, Michael Jordan and Carl Lewis. Some people are ill and cannot be cured, other are disabled from the beginning. Sometimes we can help them and sometimes they stay in the same condition for the whole life. Anyway we must help them and try to make life as easy as possible for them. It also answers one question: would hospitals be necessary? Definitely yes, there is always a risk of becoming a victim of an accident. In this case we will need health care. Health education is not a medicament for everything. It will not eradicate all diseases but it would make us healthier. Therefore hospitals would always be needed and operational.
I strongly believe that health education is a good idea. To realise it we need proper up-bringing of our children we also need lot of good will. However, I do not think that full success is possible. There would always be some problems. We should believe that we could achieve part of the success. Everything depends on us.
