Whenever I thinkabout my hobbies, interests or free time activities, I wonder which things I like better than the other ones.
Football, i.e. soccer takes a major part in my existence. It also takes most of my free time, and it includes the active or passive ways of engagement with it, like playing the matches or or watching them on TV. If only there is anoccasion to play football, I never say no and I just MUST play. It does not matter who I play with, I like spending whole weekends outdoors playing my favourite game. When something is against me, like bad weather or an injury and I have to stay at home, I keep being a football fan. I watch matches on TV, and not only the most interesting ones as I like watching all kinds of championships and other events. I also play numerous computer football games, whose animation level is so advanced that they look like live or recorded broadcasts of real matches. Furthermore I have a very large collection of souvenirs from the best football clubs and federations world-wide. I have completed my collection for two years now and I think that it is a very interesting idea for an indoor leisure activity.
My other pastime is much less absorbing than football. I am interested in computers and the Internet. I am a keen surfer and I like meddling with various systems, especially Linux.
My secret hobby is collecting stamps. I have numerous exotic stamps like the one from Burkina Faso with the panorama of its capital city Ouagadougou or a selection from Liechtenstein.
Sometimes I get engaged other things like spending time with my relatives or companions. When I meet them, I am happy and spontaneous. All my hobbbies are important for me and I like talking about them.
To sum up my hobbies, passions and pastimes, I think of school as a time-consumer leaving very little of it to my favourite things concerned with football, as I just love playing itand watching everything I that is related to it in any manner. Although I could freely admit that football is my life, it would be a lie, as aprt from football, I like my other hobbies and those things at school that I am interested in.
I would like to conclude that everyone should be inerested in something and have some passion, to forget about the everyday boring routine. Most people do not wonder what they are really interested in and if they discover it for themselves they are surprised not to have noticed it before.
