All around the world people live in houses. There are many different kinds of these houses. Most popular are: blocks of flats, huts, villas, bungalows or skyscrapers. Some centuries ago knights, royal families used to live in castles and palaces. There are different kinds of materials to make a house from. You can build the house with cement, stones, clay or wood. Wooden buildings were popular many years ago but they came to be popular again. They look beautiful, are nice to live in. The disadvantage is that they easily get burned.
What does the house of my dreams look like? Well, I would like to live nearby a city, but close to the forest as well. The house would be surrounded by the two meter high wall. To get to the house, you would have to get through the gate and than follow an alley straight to the house. The garage, where my few cars stay, would be just next to the house. I imagine green grass and beautiful trees all around the house. I especially like fir trees, so I would take care of these myself. I think my husband would be fond of roses and we would have wonderful flowers there.
The building itself wouldn't be very high. Its shape resembles the letter 'U'. The house has brown roof and white walls. There are big windows and wooden door. Entering the house, you would get to the big salon in which there would be a fireplace. This would be a place, where the whole family meets after a tiring day. I would like to have a bright dining room, from which you might go to the terrace. To help me in everyday work, I would have modern kitchen with all necessary machines.
On the first floor there would be bedrooms. There will be bathrooms next to each one. In children's bathrooms there will be showers and in my and my husband's there will be a huge bath.
The furniture in my bedroom would be made of pine. The curtains and the carpet will be yellow. There must also be a big wardrobe, where I could keep all my dresses and suits. I love buying hats and shoes, so there will be plenty of them as well. From the bedroom's window I would like to have a view on a lake and forests.
I imagine I will have a daughter and her room is just next to mine. She would love dolls, so she will have many of them. Her room will be all pink and white.
In the house of my dreams me and my family will spend much time and be happy. We will always dine together and spend whole evenings talking about what happened to us during the day.
