As I came back from school one day my family made a surprise for me. It was on Friday, 9th September 1991. My parents gave me a present- it was a doll I always wanted to have. The whole hose was decorated with balloons, there were flowers everywhere. There were also streamers and colorful candles. My mom backed a huge birthday-cake. This cake looked like my favorite cartoon hero- Mickey Mouse. I was surprised and happy.
Later in the afternoon my friends came to the party. They were all dressed very funny. They had costumes of clowns, cats or mice. I got many great presents from them. As all my guests were already there, we turned the music on and started dancing. We also played some games. My dad was wearing a costume of the clown, he had a big red plastic nose and white cheeks. At first I didn't realize it was him. He came to the room unexpectedly and was making funny things.
I will never remember that party. It was 10 years ago and I still smile when I think of it. It was the best birthday party that I have ever had.
