London
June 5, 2005
Dear Mum and Dad
I finally have some free time to write to you. We're both ok here, enjoying our time in London. The city is awesome! I was amazed when I saw it by night on the evening when we arrived here. There are so many famous and interesting places we'd like to see here but I know that we won't manage to visit all of them.
We've already been to Piccadily Circus, the Houses of Parliaments, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. We've also seen the Changing of the Guard in hte courtyard of Buckingham Palace. It was a really interesting and amusing ceremony. Yesterday, Marek and me went to the British Museum and to National Gallery. We aslo wanted to visit Madame Tissaud's but it turned out that the tickets were too expensive so we decided to have a walk along the River Thames instead. Today we're going to Tate Gallery and to Oxford Street to do some shopping. I'd like to buy some souvenirs for everyone-I hope I'll find something interesting.
It's all for now. Hope you're both fine. See you soon
Hugs and kisses
Tom
