One of the main problems of Poland and the rest of the world is corruption. Especially in poor countries corruption is everywhere. The people who live there try to get money at any cost. If they have power they overuse it or use it dishonestly. However, also rich people may be corrupted - if they are greedy. Many bureaucrats who have the power to decide on important things are also corrupted. Of course, we should fight with such a big problem. In this essay I would like to present and compare some methods of fighting with corruption.
The first and most important solution for the problem of corruption is a death sentence for such a crime. The law should punish such criminals. The people will fear of being dishonest. I really believe that if we introduce death penalty we will reduce the level of corruption in Poland.
We should fight with corruption from the beginning. We should teach young people that it is wrong to bribe and receive bribes. We must change the system of education. Teachers should teach ethics in primary schools and secondary schools. Maybe even in kindergartens. If we start early we will receive good results in the future.
The third and last solution is to do something with bureaucrats who accept bribes. I think that they do it because they do not earn much money. So, we should give them a raise. If they will earn more they will not have to take bribes. It is expensive solution but it may be a good one.
I think that the first method will be most effective. It may be inhumane but not doing anything is probably even worse. We should remember only those who risk gain something.
