People spend their holidays in various vays, depending on their character and accordin to their preferences. Some people like family holidays, others prefer holidays spend on their own or with their friends.

In my opinion, teenagers who like family holidays must be on good and friendly terms with their parents. This means that the generation gap is not a problem and both the children and the parents have great time together. I think that if there is mutual inderstanding and close relationship between all members of a family, then holidays with parents can be really enjoyable.

However, it seems that a majority of young people prefer spending holidays with their friends. If they are allowed to go spend with their peers some time away from home, they know their parents treat them as adults. This proof of their parents' trust makes the young feel independent but also responsible. For many teenagers it is vey important that they are given some freedom and try not to abuse their parents' good will.

Friends are very important for young people therefore they try to spend as much time as possible with their peers. Nevertheless, when they grow up and have their own family, they cherish every moment spend with their children and forget that as teenagers they used to prefer summer camps with friend to the most exciting trips with parents.
