My grandmother was born in Kraków in 1928. She went to primary school in Kraków and it was very difficult for her. The teachers before the war demanded more than they do it now. They ware also less forgiving. She had to learn very much. During the Second World War she was learning in secret. The life at that period was very difficult for her and her family. She often tells me histories about that time. After the war she met my grandfather and they got married. They still live in Kraków but my parents moved to Brzesko. We visit the grandparents every month.

My grandmother is shorter than me. She has an oval face and short, grey hair. She has blue eyes, long nose and thin lips. She likes dressing in blue and green clothes. She likes sitting in her armchair and watching TV or reading a newspaper. She often listens to the radio, especially to Program 1 because they often emit old songs. She also likes talking about the past. When we come to Krakow to grandparents we often talk about those times. My grandmother is a great cook. Her dishes are delicious and I like eating them very much.

I love my grandmother because I can talk with her about everything and she always has some advices.
