Zmiana czasów w mowie zależnej:
Past Simple -> Past Perfect I was in Rme -> He said he had been in Rome
Present Simple -> Past Simple I like it -> She said that she liked it
Present Continuous -> Past Continuous I am swimming -> He said that he was swimming
Present Perfect -> Past Perfect We have bought a car -> They said that they had bought a car
Present Perfect Cont. -> Past Perfect Cont. It has been raining for 2 hours -> He said that it had been raining
for 2 hours
Past Perfect -> Past Perfect
Past Cont. -> Past Perfect Cont. She was driving -> He said that she had been driving
Will -> Would (Future simple) I will not do that! -> He said that he would not do that
(Future perfect) I will have done it by Monday -> He said that he would have done it
by Monday
Zmiana słów:
This -> That; These -> Those; Here -> There; Now -> Then
This thing is dangerous! -> He said that that thing was dangerous; I leave it here -> He said that he left it there
Today -> That day; Tomorrow -> The next day; yesterday -> The previous day
We will arrive tomorrow -> They said that they would arrive the next day
W pytaniach nie używamy "do", "does", "did" ani inwersji:
Do you like the film? -> She asked me if I liked the film
