A sick person goes to them when the traditional medicine fails. It is said that they have the power from God to treat sick people. Who are these people? Are they really able to help sick people?
Their advertisements are published in every newspaper. Today the unconventional medical practitioners are more and more popular in Poland. Couple years ago people didn't talk about the visits in mysterious healer. Newsday it is estimated that there are over 50 000 healers in Poland. The sick patients look for the help in healers not only in Poland, but also in foreign countries such as Germany, USA, France and Great Britain. Why do people decide to go to the healers? Now I want to present the stories about some people who are said to be the healers. Every of them has the normal families and leads the normal life, but they claim to have some amazing talents.
One of such a healer is Madame Picoron, who is able to heal in the long distance. She needs only a photo or a thing belongs to a sick person. Madame Picoron lives in a small French village. She lives with her family. She discovered her unusual powers, when she was ill. After her recovery she wanted to share their powers with other ill people. The magnetism is a kind of gift inherited among her family's members. Every member had such a gift. Once the 7-year-old boy suffered from leukaemia, his grandmother decided to bring his photo to Madame Picoron. At first Madame Picoron couldn't promise a lot. She wanted to make that ill boy to feel better. When she was left with his photo, she felt that she must put the picture near the reproduction of the icon of the Holiest Virgin Mary of Medjugorje. So she put it. After some days the grandmother of the ill boy called her to tell her that her grandson was completely recovered!
There is the other person I would like to present you. It is Chaski. Chaski was born in region of Peru near Amazon River. Since his childhood he was fond of magic. He studied many mysteries things as well as the healing plants and the power of stones. At the age of sixteen he met the spiritual teacher who presented him the secret healing techniques of Incas.
Since that day Chaski takes all his ill patients to Machu Picchu. Chaski takes advantages of some healing ceremonies to treat his patients. He manages to heal some digestive disorders with the use of herbs, he is used to collect in the valleys. He manages also to cure children from anorexia. To the greatest Chaski's achievements belongs the recovery of an Italian doctor. The doctor suffered from some hearing problems and he had to undergo the operation. However, Chaski met the doctor in the mountains. They became friends and wandered in the mountains for couple of days. During their journeys, Chaski served the Italian doctor infusions made of herbs picked in the mountains. Chaski also prepared the ointments. Then Chaski applied the ointments on his ailing ear. After Chaski's treatment the surgery wasn't necessary.
These are a lot of individuals who are able to help ill people more than traditional doctors. It is said that the conventional medicine is sometimes helpless.
What is more, some doctors can't even diagnose the illnesses properly. The healers treat their patients in the different way. They have a lot of sympathy and have the personal attitude.
The unconventional medicine started being popular in Poland in 1972. Then Clive Harris visited our country for the first time. He also touched ill people with his "energetic" hands. In addiction, traditional doctors often accept the unconventional healers. Sometimes the healers can't explain the reasons and symptoms of the illness. Traditional doctors advice their patients not to interrupt the conventional treatment and not to stop taking medical drugs.
I think that the unconventional medicine always will remain the mystery. Doctors can't explain the power of healing by touching or by the will. However, there are many healers and some of them may be the cheaters. So we should be aware of such people. It may be a hoax. When you decide to go to the healer the most important thing is to believe that he may help you.
